Gentle Waves Table Runner

Description

Bring some character and color to your dining room table with this orange, and cream table runner. Hand made in Colombia, it features all natural dyes in a traditional wave pattern.

These traditional palm fiber mats originate from a fishing village in the swamplands of the Magdalena River. Local palm fronds are carefully sliced into strips, dyed using only natural pigments, and dried in the sun. A women’s cooperative then weaves these strips into designs—both traditional and modern—often reflecting their life on the water.
